Notes on the Solstice

I noticed this week the petals are starting to fall from the jacaranda trees. Seems later than usual but I really have no idea what usual is.

Still phlegmatic and coughing -- weeks after my cold. Someone in the office drove himself to the ER today where they pronounced pnuemonia. I wonder if I have a really mild strain.
